Kim Hyun Joong Reportedly Entering Military May 12, Agency Says He Wants to Go Quietly

Just recently, local media source Dispatch reported that Kim Hyun Joong will be entering the military to completed his mandated service on May 12. According to the source, Kim Hyun Joong will first receive five weeks of training at a recruit training camp in the city of Goyang and then be formally assigned to a position. If all goes according to schedule, he will be discharged in February 11, 2017 after completing his one year and nine months of military service.

According to Dispatch, Kim Hyun Joong will no longer be able to ask for deferment. His last petition was submitted in April to ask for time to arrange his household affairs. Currently his ex-girlfriend is pregnant with his child and is due in September.

In response to this news, his management agency, Keyeast, has stated that it cannot confirm or comment on anything as Kim Hyun Joong wishes to quietly enter. “Other than that, we have no comment,” stated his reps.
