Kim Soo Hyun to Be the Star of New Mobile Game

Soon, it seems, there will be no aspect of our daily lives that is without Hallyu star Kim Soo Hyun! From clothing to bakery ads, to drama and movie appearances, the star has boasted an incredible presence in the industry. We’re not complaining.

Now, according to an announcement via Key East, we can add one more thing to that list, with the creation of a new “Kim Soo Hyun mobile game.”

The agency revealed on June 8 that the project will be coproduced by representative Chinese mobile game company Chukong and Pandakorea.com, with Kim Soo Hyun as the main character.

Chukong will create the game, Key East will provide the contents, and Pandakorea.com will be both investing in and marketing the product. Plans are for the game to take on the casual format of nurturing a star. Naturally, the game will also include in-game purchases.

Key East CEO Bae Sung Woong said, “We are delighted to be launching a game that utilizes Hallyu contents alongside a global mobile game company. It’ll become a good example of taking the Hallyu boom – advanced through drama and music – and taking it to a high-value industry like games.”
