SM Entertainment Responds to Tao Setting Up His Own Agency

Following the news of Tao (Huang Zitao) having set up his own one-man agency/workship in China, SM Entertainment has released an official statement in response.

On June 12, a representative of SM Entertainment shared, “We have heard the news of Tao’s personal workshop. We are currently in discussion for an ongoing progressive direction.”

As previously reported, SM Entertainment has been supporting EXO’s Lay and f(x)’s Victoria in setting up personal workshops for individual promotions in China.

While Tao has not been present for EXO’s group promotions since April, SM Entertainment has continued to state that they have actively been negotiating with Tao and his father.
