Lee Jun Ki to Return to Filming "The Scholar Who Walks the Night" Following Injury

Lee Jun Ki recently fractured his nose while filming on the set of his upcoming MBC drama “The Scholar Who Walks the Night.” Since sustaining his injury on June 10, the actor will be returning to the set on June 18.

His co-star Lee Yoo Bi also suffered an injury to her lower back/waist alongside him. Unfortunately, the actress is still recovering and is currently unable to rejoin the drama.

A representative from her agency stated, “Lee Yoo Bi is still hospitalized. We need to watch over her progress and recovery for a little longer.”

“The Scholar Who Walks the Night” is about a vampire scholar named Kim Sung Yeol (played by Lee Jun Ki). Describing itself as a fantasy melodrama, the drama promises to deliver a sweet romance as well as scary thrills. It is scheduled to air in July after “Warm and Cozy” ends its run.
