Clara Petitions for Postponement of Trial Against Polaris Entertainment; Withdraws Witness
Clara submitted court documents on June 24 asking to withdraw witnesses and to postpone the arraignment in the lawsuit against Polaris Entertainment, according to Seoul Central District Court.
It has not been decided whether her requests will be granted by the court. According to schedule, the date for the second arraignment would have been July 1.
Previously, Clara and Polaris Entertainment have asked to change the date of arraignment once each. As such, the first arraignment occurred six months after the lawsuit has been brought.
Meanwhile, Clara signed a contract with Polaris Entertainment until 2018 in June of last year, but had conflicts with the agency in the matters of her activities with her previous agency. Clara subsequently sought to annul her contract with Polaris, and Polaris started a criminal lawsuit against Clara for blackmailing and intimidation.
