"Night of TV Entertainment" Speaks With Dispatch About Lee Jong Suk and Park Shin Hye's Relationship

With Lee Jong Suk and Park Shin Hye being the latest potential drama couple brought to life, SBS’s “Night of TV Entertainment” sought out one of the Dispatch reporters who wrote the story, Park In Young.

Park In Young states, “We heard through an acquaintance that [Lee Jong Suk and Park Shin Hye] were meeting with interest, and in the process of covering the story, we found that the two were indeed meeting periodically and secretively, which we thought definitely reflected the pattern of celebrities who are dating.”

She continues, “They usually met late at night, and generally had their dates in the car. They were very careful about it. Lee Jong Suk would pick Park Shin Hye up, alternating between two of his cars.”

“Night of TV Entertainment” tried to speak with Lee Jong Suk’s agency, but was told that the person in charge was not present. They were able to reach Park Shin Hye’s agency, however.

An agency rep states to “Night of TV Entertainment” that they are currently trying to confirm the news with Park Shin Hye, but she is on a backpacking trip, unreachable at the moment. “What we’re saying as her agency is not an explicit denial, but as far as we know, the two are just friends, very close friends.”

Regarding the two actors being in Hawaii in April at the same time, the representative simply states that they are aware that Lee Jong Suk’s and Park Shin Hye’s trips to Hawaii did overlap a couple of days. “However, Lee Jong Suk was there for filming, and Park Shin Hye was there with a friend. They did not meet each other while abroad,” says the rep over the phone.

Park Shin Hye’s agency rep also speaks about the Shanghai fan meeting that both actors held on the same day. “I was with her for the fan meeting, and they didn’t have any reason to meet. She didn’t even have the time to do so.”
