KARA's Youngji Reveals Her Ideal Type in Pictorial + Interview With bnt International

KARA’s Youngji recently participated in a photo shoot and interview with bnt International. The singer shows off four different concepts including a marine-inspired look, a more playful and curious approach, a lovely and feminine atmosphere, and a more sensual and alluring beauty.

For the marine concept, she dons a white blouse and vivid blue pants.

Her second look is much more casual with a white t-shirt and denim styling. Her stars and stripes hairband adds a nice touch as well.

As for the feminine concept, the starlet wears a pastel pink dress with white polka dots. 

Last, her mature look incorporates a black dress and marsala colored makeup.

In the accompanying interview the singer shares how she maintains her figure and says, “I used to just starve myself and diet, so I would see stars [and get dizzy] when I got off the stage after a performance. Goo Hara gifted me with 10 pilates lessons.” She shows her resolve to regularly practice pilates.

When asked about how she came to become an idol singer, she reveals that she was not interested in idols in the past. However, this changed when she saw a video of a BIGBANG concert when she was studying in New Zealand. After training for four years, she was able to join KARA.

She also shares how close she has become with fellow member Han Seungyeon and says, “It feels like Seungyeon uhnni (older female) and I are dating.” Later, she discusses her precious time on “Roommate Season 2” and expresses her desire to join the third season.

Then she reveals her ideal type and selects Kim Soo Hyun. She explains, “I have liked Kim Soo Hyun since I saw his acting in ‘The Moon That Embraces the Sun.'”

Finally, she comments on how she would like to become a national MC like Yoo Jae Suk and Kang Ho Dong and receive a lot of love from the public.
