Lee Jun Ki Worries Over His Age for “Scholar Who Walks the Night”
Actor Lee Jun Ki revealed the stress he feels in having to portray a beautiful vampire in his new drama “Scholar Who Walks the Night.”
On July 7, “Scholar Who Walks the Night” held a press conference. Lee Jun Ki, the male lead for the drama, who is in his thirties said, “At the beginning, I was emotionally stressed because I thought I couldn’t beat my age. The original [webtoon] has a lot of hardcore fans and it’s popular among the younger population.” He also said, “Many actors were in talks for the drama and were casted virtually.”
He mused, “When I was in ‘King and the Clown,’ I was fresh and handsome.” However, he laughed and explained, “In the end, I think it’s more important to be able to immerse yourself into the work and increase its quality. I’m trying to satisfy the viewers 100 percent with my acting and my attitude on set to the best of my abilities. I will stay on my toes so that we can get a good review.”
Meanwhile, “Scholar Who Walks the Night” is a historical vampire drama with Lee Jun Ki, Lee Yoo Bi, Changmin, and Kim So Eun as the leads.
