Song Seung Hun in Talks to Join Lee Young Ae's Upcoming Drama

Actor Song Seung Hun is in talks to join the SBS drama “Saimdang, The Herstory.”

The actor’s agency The Joeun ENT told the media that “Song Seung Hun has received an offer to be the lead in ‘Saimdang, The Herstory.’ He has not confirmed the casting, but he is considering it among other projects.”

If he were to accept the role, it will be his first drama since 2013’s “Man in Love.” ‘Saimdang, The Herstory” is the return project for actress Lee Young Ae, who has not been in a drama since 2003’s “Jewel in the Palace.”

“Saimdang, The Herstory” will finalize its casting shortly and begin shooting in August. It has been scheduled for an early 2016 premiere.
