F-ve Dolls' Hyoyoung Requests Contract Termination from MBK Entertainment
According to a report by Star Today, F-ve Dolls’ member Hyoyoung has requested to leave MBK Entertainment, formerly Core Contents Media. Hyoyoung is also the twin sister of former T-ara member Hwayoung.
Hyoyoung reportedly sent a content certification mail to Kim Kwang Soo, CEO of MBK Entertainment and producer, that contains a termination request of her contract with the agency. An acquaintance of Hyoyoung told Star Today that while it is difficult to reveal exactly why, it isn’t because Hyoyoung fought with the agency. She wants to find an amicable solution to the issue.
F-ve Dolls disbanded this past March and at that time MBK revealed that most of the members’ contracts have already ended or were going to end soon. Member Seunghee stayed with the agency to join the company’s new girl group, DIA, and Hyewon left to sign with Keyeast. Hyoyoung still has some time left in her contract with MBK, but she allegedly doesn’t see the need to stay until it ends at this point.
MBK Entertainment has responded to this report that it looking into the Hyoyoung’s request and will be making an official statement soon.
