Ailee Reveals She Would Have Liked to Be a Member of 2NE1

Ailee revealed that she used to want to be part of a girl group.

On the upcoming episode of KBS2’s “Immortal Song,” which will air on August 8, Ailee participates in the “Songwriter Kim Jung Taek Special.”

After watching girl group MelodyDay’s performance, she says to everyone’s surprise, “To be honest, I used to want to be in a girl group.”

She chooses 2NE1 as the group she would want to be a part and then sings her heart out on the spot to the song “I Don’t Care.”

Meanwhile, Ailee performs her rendition of Insooni’s “Don’t Say Heartbreaking Words,” which was written by Kim Jung Taek, on the show. Her soulful voice and charismatic stage presence is enough to captivate the audience.
