"Super Star K7" Releases Teaser Video Featuring Guest Judges Ga In, Kyuhyun, Ailee, Zion.T, and More

The seventh season of Mnet‘s popular audition show “Super Star K” is set to premiere on August 20, and to get fans excited the show has dropped a teaser that introduces its much-anticipated guest star judges.

It was previously announced that the guest lineup for this season includes Brown Eyed Girls‘ Ga In, Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun, songstress Ailee, hip hop artist Zion.T, former “Super Star K” winner Huh Gak, and trot singer Hong Jin Young.

“Super Star K7” has now released a teaser that reveals that many of the guest judges show a different side of themselves on the panel than fans might be used to.

Zion.T for example is known for being a man of few words when he appears on variety shows, but he seems to have plenty to say on the show.

Although we don’t get to see what Kyuhyun says to deserve it, we see him getting told off by Baek Ji Young, who tells him to “Keep that kind of stuff on ‘Radio Star‘!” But in the rest of his clips, it looks like Kyuhyun’s shed his usual biting witticisms for serious, and often kind and complimentary, evaluations of the contestants.

Ailee is famous for her charisma on stage, but in the teaser the show says she seems to be more like a “cute promoter” as she cheers on the contestants. She also expresses how much she’s enjoying their performances in what the show calls “American-style” reactions.

Meanwhile, the teaser points out that Ga In appears to be more like a friendly girl next door on the panel than her strong and powerful image, although she still doesn’t hold back with her constructive criticism.
