YG Entertainment Gives Back to Community to Build Up Art Directors, Composers, and Lyricists

MUJU YG Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by YG Entertainment, and Seoul Young Adults Media Center will begin the YG Director Project starting this August 25.

The project aims to find young adults who are talented and passionate about becoming an art director, lyricist, or songwriter, but do not have many opportunities because of their circumstances. Once selected, their education will be sponsored by the foundation.

Anyone between 14 and 19 years of age living in the greater Seoul area are eligible to apply. Once 20 young adults have been selected, they will be given a basic education, and they will be given the opportunity to use their creativity. Many employees of YG Entertainment will help with the education. Furthermore, they will have the chance to go see cultural performances, tour the YG Entertainment building, and eventually be given a certificate. Applications will be accepted until September 11 at 6 p.m. KST.

College-aged students may also apply to become these youths’ mentor. Please click here for details.
