"King of Masked Singer" Dongwoon Tries to Recruit "Guitar Man" for BEAST Until He Finds Out His Identity

On the August 30 broadcast of MBC‘s “King of Masked Singer,” contestant “Legendary Guitar Man” goes up against “Your Way Hawaii,” for which he sings a beautiful rendition of “Truth in Wine” (below).

Panel member BEAST‘s Dongwoon comments on “Guitar Man,” “I can’t help but think he’s an idol, in which case I would like to recruit him as a BEAST vocalist.”

B1A4‘s Sandeul also offers a spot in his group, “We would welcome him coming to B1A4.”

“Legendary Guitar Man” ultimately loses against “Your Way Hawaii,” and when he takes off his mask, he has Dongwoon and Sandeul retracting their offers immediately.

“Legendary Guitar Man” is revealed to be none other than EXO‘s Chen. Dongwoon says to him, “I am sure you’re happier where you are. I made a senseless proposition.”

Meanwhile, “King of Masked Singer” airs every Sunday at 4:50 p.m., KST on MBC.
