Hong Jin Young Recalls Her Worst Online Comment Ever

Singer Hong Jin Young‘s second episode as a guest on “Have You Eaten?” was aired on September 6. Along with Hong Jin Young, Lim Ji Ho and special MC Kim Kyu Ri continued their food tour in Kyungsang North Province.

Hong Jin Young was asked whether she has ever been in a slump. She recalled the time when she debuted as a member of the group Swan. She said, “I’m not really the kind of person who gets hurt because of malicious comments, but I felt really hurt by this one comment that said, ‘It’s too bad that she doesn’t have cancer.’ I felt as if I had been hit on the head.” She continued, “I just crumbled at that particular comment. I was shocked that someone wanted me dead. Afterwards, I kept getting worried while talking to my parents, because I wondered if they also saw that comment. I couldn’t figure out what I did wrong.”
