Tasty Officially Files Lawsuit to End Contract With Woollim

Chinese duo Tasty (twins Daeryong and Soryong) has officially filed a lawsuit against Woollim Entertainment’s parent company SM C&C to confirm the invalidity of their exclusive contract, according to legal sources on September 14. It has been a long time coming since the duo first announced this July that they would no longer be promoting in Korea.

Tasty will be represented by Shinwon Law Firm in the upcoming legal battles. Regarding the lawsuit from Tasty, Woollim stated to Star News that they are preparing a countersuit with their lawyers. The first court date has yet to be set.

Previously, following Tasty’s decision to leave Korea, the duo and Woollim went back and forth with contradictory statements, the tension between the two already apparent, and when Tasty announced their Chinese single release, Woollim responded with a promise of legal action.
