Sung Dong Il and Kwon Sang Woo Share Stories About Their Growing Sons on "Happy Together"

While appearing on September 24’s episode of “Happy Together” to promote their new film “Detective: The Beginning,” co-stars Sung Dong Il and Kwon Sang Woo share stories about their kids.

Sung Dong Il has three children, and previously starred on the popular reality show “Dad! Where Are We Going?” with his son Sung Joon in season one, and his daughter Sung Bin in season two.

Sung Dong Il says that Kwon Sang Woo is always showing him photos of his new daughter, who was born this January, so he wanted to try to compete with Kwon Sang Woo a bit. He tells the story of how he made a video call to Sung Joon one day while with Kwon Sang Woo.

Sung Dong Il and Kwon Sang Woo then act out the scene for everyone. Sung Dong Il pretends to be talking to Sung Joon over a video call and says, “Joon! It’s me, dad!” Kwon Sang Woo replies while pretending to be Sung Joon, “Dad, I’m busy. I’m hanging up.”

Sung Dong Il says Sung Joon is now in his third year of elementary school, and all the hosts agree that it’s a pretty busy time of life.

Kwon Sang Woo says his son has also changed a lot. He’s now six years old, and when he’s upset with Kwon Sang Woo he tends to act really cold. “If I say to him, ‘I love you,’ he’ll reply, ‘I’ll pass,'” says Kwon Sang Woo.
