7 K-Pop Reunions That Made Us Cry Too

With the K-Pop world abuzz this week with DBSK’s Yunho and JYJ’s Jaejoong publicly meeting at the 13th Ground Forces Festival, many fans have expressed their happiness at seeing two former group mates interacting.

This is not the first time that a meeting between former members were caught on camera together.

Last year, Super Junior‘s Siwon ran into former member Hangeng at Jackie Chan’s birthday party. They could be seen greeting each other with smiles and a handshake before exchanging a few words. Hangeng had left the group in 2009 following a contract dispute.

Kibum, who had left U-KISS in 2011, ran into the group a year later at the airport. Luckily, a fan was around to record that sweet moment as they exchanged hugs.

Former A Pink member Yookyung was spotted last year attending Eunji’s musical. She departed from the group in 2013 to focus on her studies.

Former After School leader Kahi met up with another original After School member Bekah last year. She shared the picture on Instagram with the comment “My Love. Finally we met. Love you forever.”

First generation K-Pop idols Kangta and Moon Hee Joon of H.O.T were on Immortal Song 2 last year. It was the first time in 11 years that they were seen on a broadcast together.

While they didn’t debut in the same group, BEAST’s Hyunseung reuniting with BIGBANG was also amazing. Back in 2006, he was a contestant on the same survival show as the members of BIGBANG, but failed to make the final cut right before their debut. Having trained together for a long time, their closeness was well known.
