YG Entertainment Refutes Claim That iKON's Logo Was Plagiarized

YG Entertainment has distributed evidence against allegations that iKON‘s logo was plagiarized. Earlier, a company called FixedGear UnknownBike posted on social media that their logo is similar to iKON’s logo. They said, “We have no intention to fight, and we believe that designs can be similar, but we just want everyone to know that we were the first to design this.” Both parties’ logos are inspired from the Korean flag.

According to YG Entertainment, the iKON logo was designed back in 2014, and they released a design log to support their claim. The design log includes the emails that were distributed when they decided on the logo, as well as parts of the proposal regarding iKON. They added that they will make the actual data available, so that FixedGear UnknownBike can look and examine it themselves.
