Sandara Park Surprises Everyone When She Reveals How 2NE1's "Fire" Was Recorded

During the recent episode of “Sugar Man” on October 20, Sandara Park revealed a rather surprising secret on how she recorded 2NE1‘s “Fire.”

The singer explained, “I debuted with rap. I rapped in ‘Fire,’ but I actually rapped while pinching my nose. [The voice that you hear] is mine with my nose pinched.”

Songwriter and producer Black Eyed Pil Seung was surprised, saying, “I thought it was autotune.” Sandara Park told him, “There is a little bit of autotune but (the majority is me pinching my nose).”

Hearing this, A Pink started pinching their noses and tried to imitate what Sandara must’ve done.

Yoo Hee Yeol joked, “I guess YG Entertainment isn’t that fancy after all. I just like their fashion style.”
