KBS Responds to the Rumors of Comedians Leaving "Gag Concert"

It was rumored on November 2 that there have been serious disagreements between the comedians appearing in KBS‘s “Gag Concert” and the producing staff of the show, and that many famous comedians have left the show as a result. The details of the rumor were quite explicit, saying that the comedians will move to tvN‘s “Comedy Big League.”

However, it seems that it was all just a rumor, as both KBS and tvN insiders have denied that they have heard anything from the comedians. KBS insiders said, “This is completely false, and there is no reason for us to even respond to the allegations.” tvN insiders were in agreement, saying “We are not aware of any comedians who left ‘Gag Concert.’ It is unknown whether they would want to come to our channel instead. Our show changes quarterly, and we are certainly willing to offer a spot, regardless of whether they are from KBS or SBS.”
