Sandara Park Is a North Korean Beauty in "Missing Korea" Stills
2NE1‘s Sandara Park is an absolute stunner in the latest stills and behind-the-scenes photos of KBS’ web drama “Missing Korea.”
Looking flawless in her bright red gown and voluminous hairdo, the actress has transformed into her role as Li Yeon Hwa, an ordinary North Korean worker. Appropriate for the beauty pageant theme, she gives an elegant wave to the audience and tops it all off with a bright smile. She is also seen posing with her script backstage.
Set in the fictional year of 2020, “Missing Korea” follows the comical events that take place after a group of North Korean beauty pageants gets mixed up with a group of workers from the Kaesong Industrial Complex. The latter is ultimately sent to represent North Korea at the 1st Unified Miss Korea Competition, held to promote further reunification efforts.
Sandara Park plays the female lead alongside male lead Kim Jung Hoon.
The first episode aired through Naver’s TV Cast on November 3, and the KBS premiere has been scheduled for November 13.
