10 Unique Food-Inspired Korean Beauty Products
Two of my favorite things to do on a daily basis other than napping, is to eat and to put on makeup. The combination of food and makeup seems unrelated, but Korea has proven that food can be an inspiration for everything, including makeup.
Check out some of Korean beauty products that are inspired by delectable foods and let us know in the comments down below if you have tried any of them!
The Saem Choco Pie Hand Cream
Growing up in Korea, one of my favorite childhood snacks was Choco Pie. As a child I remember loving every aspect of the cookie from the cheap chocolate to the fluffy yet questionable marshmallow center. The SAEM has taken this crowd favorite childhood snack and turned it into an absolutely adorable hand cream. From the wrapping of the product, it looks just like a Choco Pie!
Not only is the hand cream adorable, it also has a heavenly scent. The SAEM hand cream comes in two different flavors: Regular Choco Pie and Cookies and Cream. The Regular hand cream is a smooth consistency whereas the Cookies and Cream has bits of cacao butter that make the hand cream smell even more decadent while providing ultimate moisture to your hands.
Tony Moly Magic Food Banana Hand Milk

Tony Moly – Mini Berry Lip Balm SPF 15 PA+
I am most definitely guilty of neglecting my lips whenever I get busy. The Tony Moly Mini Berry Lip Balm is so cute that it makes me want to take it out everywhere I am. The lip balm comes in two different flavors: cherry and blueberry.
Both flavors have enough pigmentation to give you a natural lip color while providing ultimate moisture for the lips. It’s a definite must in this chilly season where your lips are more prone to getting chapped due to the harsh winds. This lip balm also has SPF 15 and PA+ to protect your lips from UV rays. It’s an all-in-one product with sun care, moisture, color payoff, and cute packaging!

The Face Shop Lovely ME:EX Dessert Lip Balm is the perfect product for all you honey lovers out there. Not only does this product look like an adorable pot of honey, it also smells exactly like real honey. Also, the spatula that comes with this product is also super adorable, shaped just like a honeycomb!
Other than the cute packaging and the fruity fragrant scent, this lip balm keeps your lips moist and soft all day. The honey-like texture of the lip balm coats your lips, protecting them from the harsh UV rays and the cold winter winds.

Holika Holika Apple Shine Peeling Sheet
When I first heard about this product, all I could think about is, “What the heck is a peeling sheet?” A peeling sheet is an exfoliating sheet that helps remove dead skin cells when you cleanse your face. The Apple Shine Peeling Sheet contains a high concentration of organic apples, hyaluronic acid, and grains. It’s effective in removing dead skin cells and giving you skin as smooth as a baby’s butt.
Black Caviar Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream
You don’t get much classier than black caviar, and as a college student, I know I can’t afford to eat caviar. So I guess if you can’t afford to eat it, it’s best to go for the cheaper alternative and buy eye cream with caviar extract that you can put on your face. The caviar extract in this eye cream helps restore the cellular barriers of the skin.
The Holika Holika Black Caviar Anti- Wrinkle Eye Cream is composed of 20 percent black caviar extracts and royal jelly extracts that provides extra wrinkle care. Not only is this fancy eye cream enriched with caviar, it also has hints of gold and diamond that give you optimum anti-aging effects. You can also get a black caviar face cream and a black caviar emulsion.
Tony Moly Haeyo Mayo Hair Nutrition Pack
The Tony Moly Haeyo Mayo Hair Nutrition Pack is definitely an eye-catcher. This hair mask keeps the hair healthy and provides moisture, shine, and nutrients to leave your hair feeling silky and soft. Just be careful not to place this product in the kitchen. You don’t want anyone with Haeyo on their sandwich!
