When You're Caught Trying to Play It Cool While Watching Your Favorite K-pop Groups

I’ve been to a few shows where the camera tries to capture the faces of the audience while they are watching a performance, and it’s a nerveracking experience for someone who is camera shy. You want to focus on the show, but most of the time you’re looking at a little screen in the corner of the hall where they’re displaying what is airing on TV, trying to make sure the camera doesn’t catch you wide-mouth and drooling. I know it’s especially a concern for some fans who lied to their parents and told them they were at the library studying, not screaming their heads off for their biases.

Writer and actor Yoo Byung Jae, who is managed by YG Entertainment and has risen to fame through his participation in “Saturday Night Live Korea” and “Infinite Challenge,” was one of those unfortunate souls who was caught unaware on camera while happily watching a girl group perform. He was watching Namjoo perform A Pink‘s “Mr. Chu” like any fanboy would, with a huge, dumb smile on his face, until he realizes the camera is on him. Immediately he becomes emotionless, but it’s just a little too late and everyone, including his girlfriend watching at home, has seen how he really feels inside.

Whether it was staged or not, Yoo Byung Jae perfectly captured the hearts of secretive and shy fans everywhere – playin’ it cool when inside you’re just jumping up and down.

How about you guys? What do you guys look like watching your bias?
