Updated: CL to Release Single in Korea and America
YG Entertainment revealed a teaser of image of CL informing fans that the video will be released through Noisey and YG’s official websites. Furthermore, her song will be available for free on Soundcloud. CL’s song will be released in both Korea and America at the same time. It will be released on November 21 at 11 p.m. KST which means November 21 4 a.m. PST and 7 a.m. EST.
The artist behind YG Entertainment’s “WHO’S NEXT” teaser has been revealed to be none other than CL of 2NE1!
On November 18, YG uploaded a poster on their website reading: “CL – HELLO BITCHES.” According to the poster, the new song will drop on November 21 at 9 p.m KST.
Ever since the “WHO’S NEXT” teaser was posted, netizens have been speculating about who will be the next YG artist to follow Jinusean, BIGBANG, and iKON in a comeback this year. Company president Yang Hyun Suk and YG artists like G-Dragon, Taeyang, CL, and Sandara Park have been uploading individual alphabet letters from “HELLO BITCHES” on their personal Instagram accounts to hype up the newest release.
CL is currently in a contract with Scooter Braun’s SB PROJECTS to prepare for her U.S. debut. She made a featuring appearance last December in Skrillex’s “Dirty Vibe” and last May in Diplo’s “Doctor Pepper.” She also recently joined a slew of global artists in the MDBP (Mad Decent Block Party) tour around Canada and the United States.
