EXO's Chanyeol Gets a Special Birthday Present from Fans

The 24th birthday of EXO‘s Chanyeol will be remembered by many people for many years to come, as he received a forest for his birthday.

One of Chanyeol’s fan communities, called Park Chanyeol Baidu Bar was responsible for this mindblowing gift. They raised 30 million Korean won (approximately $26,000) within three hours, which was enough to purchase their star a garden-style forest within the World Cup Park in Seoul through the Star Forest Project by Tree Planet.

The park was revealed to the public this past October, and many visitors stop by every day. One fan who participated in the project said, “Not only does this celebrate Chanyeol’s birthday, it is very meaningful as many people will benefit from this forest within a city.” The fan added, “There were not very many places that reminded me of Chanyeol when I visit Korea, but I hope this will be one of those places.”
