Shinhwa's Jun Jin's Thoughts on His New Solo Album, Fans, and Marriage

Allure has revealed a pictorial of Jun Jin of Shinhwa in its December issue. Jun Jin, who is now in his thirties (!), showed off his masculine side through wearing stylish suits. The magazine also featured an interview where they asked for his thoughts on various topics, beginning with his feelings on releasing a solo album. This is his first in seven years.

“I have been thinking about it for a long time, but as Shinhwa continued to release albums, there wasn’t a good time [to release] a solo album.” He continued, “All singers want to show their fans that they have improved. This was especially true for me, since this is my first chance in seven years.”

Jun Jin is known for communicating with his fans through various media, including Naver‘s V App and Instagram, and he also spoke to Allure about his love for his fans. He said, “I need to show that I am improving to both my fans, and also to people who don’t care about me. I hope to continue my career as a singer that can do this, and I hope that my career is a long one.” He hopes to be a singer well into his sixties, and he said that “I hope that I’ll be able to host some dinner shows for my fans when I’m in my sixties.”

Finally, he talked about his thoughts on marriage. He said, “I know how important family is, and I am very humbled and impressed by the people who are living happily as a family.” When asked whether he was going to get married soon, he said, “I want to be one of the first three to get married within Shinhwa, because those are the people who are going to get all the press attention,” causing laughter among the crew.
