Kim Soo Hyun's Half Sister to Participate in Girl Group Survival Show "Produce 101"

Kim Joo Na, who is widely known for being the half sister of Hallyu star Kim Soo Hyun, has been revealed as a contestant on Mnet’s large-scale girl group survival show “Produce 101.”

According to industry insiders, the 22-year-old is included in the 101 hopefuls participating in the reality show.

Between December 18 and 21, Mnet revealed the profile photos of 59 trainees through their official website, but it appears that Kim Joo Na is among the 42 who have yet to be properly introduced to the public.

She had reportedly discussed joining the program even before the media discovered her close ties with Kim Soo Hyun.

Last summer, Kim Joo Na made the headlines after she was revealed to be the younger sister of Kim Soo Hyun, followed by a clarification that they are half siblings. She made her singing debut in July through the OST of SBS’ “High Society.”
