Gary's New Single Tops Chinese Charts
Gary‘s new single, “Lonely Night,” is huge success in China, and is topping the real-time chart of Baidu King Bang.
“Lonely Night” was inspired from the drama “Incomplete Life.” The lyrics portray the sentiment that even during a tough day, everyone should remember their loved ones, and start another day energetically. It features a soothing melody and lyrics that offer consolation to everyone who is going through difficult times.
The singer posted up a proof shot of the ranking on his Instagram, thanking Chinese fans.
In addition to the deep lyrics, another reason for the popularity of the single is due to the fact that Song Ji Hyo makes an appearance in the music video.
Gary starts his Asia tour starting on January 16. The tour will stop in four cities in China, and he is also preparing to visit Taiwan, Hong Kong, and southeast Asia. Check out the “Lonely Night” music video below if you haven’t seen it already!
