Jung Yong Hwa Is First Korean Male Celebrity to Grace Cover of Elle China

Jung Yong Hwa becomes the first-ever Korean male celebrity to grace the cover of Elle China magazine.

The full pictorial, which will be released on February 5, is a special edition commemorating the magazine’s 70th anniversary.

During the corresponding interview, Jung Yong Hwa sheds light on his songwriting process. “I receive inspiration from my daily life. Whenever I am inspired, I have a habit of making a memo of it. It is through this habit that I’ve been able to write a lot of songs.”

Meanwhile, Jung Yong Hwa has been enjoying explosive popularity in China, receiving the “Voice of Elle” prize last December at the “2015 Elle Style Awards” in Shanghai. He has also shattered the Gaon Weibo Charts, occupying first place for 61 of 62 possible weeks.
