Lee Hi, Park Bo Ram, and CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa to Appear on Next Episode of “Sugar Man”

Solo singers Lee Hi and Park Bo Ram are set to go head to head for their teams on the next episode of “Sugar Man”!

According to reports on April 5, the pair have already filmed their performances on the show. It’s reported that CNBLUE leader Jung Yong Hwa took part as the producer for Park Bo Ram’s team.

On each episode of “Sugar Man,” guest groups and artists are brought on by team leaders Yoo Jae Suk and Yoo Hee Yeol to perform a hit song from the past that has been re-arranged by the team’s recruited producer. The winning team is chosen by the audience, which is separated into age groups.

Lee Hi recently made a long-awaited comeback with her half album “Seoulite” in March, which features the chart-topping track “Breathe” written by SHINee’s Jonghyun. She is YG Entertainment label mates with “Sugar Man” host Sandara Park of 2NE1, who has been working hard to cast Lee Hi on the show.

Park Bo Ram was a contestant on “SuperStar K2” in 2010, and debuted with the track “Beautiful” (featuring Block B’s Zico) in August of 2014. Her team’s producer Jung Yong Hwa has plenty of experience as a composer and producer, and was involved in the writing and composing of all the tracks on his solo album “One Fine Day.” He has often written songs for his band CNBLUE since their debut in 2010. He most recently penned the group’s title track “You’re So Fine” off their sixth mini album, which was released on April 4.

Lee Hi, Park Bo Ram, and Jung Yong Hwa’s episode of “Sugar Man” will air on April 12.
