Actor Lee Min Ho Joins New Agency With CEO Sister
Actor Lee Min Ho has moved agencies to MYM Entertainment (Me and You Making Entertainment), founded in part by his CEO sister.
MYM Entertainment was established jointly by CEO Lee Yoon Jung of Euphoria Seoul and CEO Jang Young Hoon of Starhaus Entertainment. The company will be managed through the combination of the strengths of an integrated management system, as opposed to a one-person agency, and an agent system housing professionals from a variety of fields.
MYM Entertainment commented, “As a representative of Hallyu who is demonstrating strong influence in his area, we will help Lee Min Ho to demonstrate his capabilities as an artist to the fullest and also work with leading overseas partners for the expansion of Hallyu content. Going beyond the existing exclusive contract model, our goal is the completion of an optimized entertainment business through a specialized system able to maximize the artist’s identity.”
They continued, “Beginning with Lee Min Ho’s management, we plan on gradually recruiting artists from various fields and, aside from just management, as a cultural company pursuing all forms of ‘enjoyment’ centered around artists, we will work to become a leading global company that makes an impact in the world through the production of valuable content that we make, share, and enjoy together.”
Meanwhile, Lee Min Ho is currently active promoting locally for the Chinese premiere of his movie “Bounty Hunter” in June and expects to greet fans through a drama in the second half of the year.
