Endless High Notes And Last-Minute Votes Decide First Place On “Duet Song Festival”

On the May 27 episode of “Duet Song Festival,” B1A4’s Sandeul, Lee Suk Hoon, Lee Young Hyun, Min Kyung Hoon, Ra.D, and Teen Top’s Niel battled it out for the final crown.

Niel and his partner Kim Do Hyun covered the song “Tic Tac Toe” for the first performance and earned 357 points. Buzz’s Min Kyung Hoon and his partner Lee Eun Bi followed it up with a cover of Taeyeon’s “If” and won 409 points.

Sandeul and Cho Sun Young, who had previously won three times on the show, sang Loveholics’ “Butterfly” and showed off their amazing harmony yet again. After making the audience, including Lee Young Hyun, tear up, the pair took home 423 points.

Lee Young Hyun was up next with “Rhapsody of Rain” and his partner Park Joon Hyung. Lee Young Hyun’s endless high note and thrilling last-minute votes gave the duo the edge needed to overtake Sandeul’s lead with 440 points.

SG Wannabe’s Lee Suk Hoon and his partner Lee So Ri, as well as Ra.D and Na Ye Won, did their best with 421 and 436 points respectively but were unable to beat Lee Young Hyun’s score.
