BTS Tops Monthly Album Chart With Special Album
Boy group BTS is still dominating charts with its latest release “Young Forever.”
According to leading music chart Gaon, the special album takes the No.1 spot on their monthly album chart for May. Following its release on May 2, the album has hit impressive sales numbers by selling around 310,000 copies in less than a month.
With a massive margin, “Young Forever” places first on Gaon’s monthly album chart by selling 310,243 copies. Coming in second is INFINITE’s Woohyun with 78,126 copies sold, followed by Jessica’s solo debut album “With Love, J” which sold 69,777 copies. Other albums in the Top 10 include recent releases by I.O.I, MONSTA X, SEVENTEEN, and AOA, as well as solo albums by Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany, SHINee’s Jonghyun, and JYJ’s Xia.
Meanwhile, the album’s title track “Fire” was well received both domestically and abroad. Currently, BTS is treating fans to another “BTS Festa” ahead of its third debut anniversary.
