EXO’s Chanyeol Asks Fans To Stop Creating Confusion With Speculations About “Lovestagrams”

EXO’s Chanyeol isn’t staying silent against fans accusing him of engaging in “lovestagram,” or the act of “dating/communicating” with another person on Instagram through secret messages relayed through videos and images.

On June 16, EXO’s Chanyeol uploaded a video onto his Instagram account, captioned “Sometimes,” the name of the song he covered in the video. The song is originally by singer Crush.

Chanyeol later left a comment on his own post, as some commenters began to speculate on the meaning behind this video. He wrote, “I worked hard to sing this song and uploaded it because many people wanted to listen. I don’t know how twisted the minds of those people are who are calling this a lovestagram. I am just working hard doing the things I want so if you don’t want to see that just don’t come into my Instagram, stop following me, and just live your life.”

He continues, “[Since I’m talking about those speculations] About following Taeyeon noona’s Instagram, I heard that I came out in the video, so I checked it out and accidentally pressed “like.” I thought it would be weird if I clicked “like” without following, so I followed her, but then you guys said something so I stopped following her.”

Chanyeol continues to address many other speculations, explaining, “I erased the question mark because it looked like my Instagram was getting dirty. We didn’t go to the Seoul Jazz Festival together; we just saw each other there. The reason why I erased the “melody for you” was because after uploading it, I didn’t like, so I was planning to re-record it and upload later. Nor do I have a private Instagram account. Stop creating confusion for fans with nonsense; please just do your own work. I will cheer you on. Don’t come into my Instagram. Whether SNS is a waste of my life or not, I am just happily communicating with people in my own way.
