Watch: Pentagon Releases Music Video For Dok2-Produced Track "Young"

On July 9, the digital single and music video for Pentagon’s “Young” was released.

The track is produced by Dok2 and features only Team Hui, which includes Hui, Yeo One, Yuto, Kino, and Woo Seok. The release of “Young” is a special prize for this team, who beat Team Jin Ho during the June 27 episode of “Pentagon Maker.” Team Jin Ho had performed “Find Me,” which was produced by Tiger JK.

In the music video, the members of Team Hui parody “Show Me the Money 5,” instead calling it “Show Me the Young 5” to better fit their song. It includes scenes that depict everything from receiving the coveted necklaces during preliminaries to rapping on the iconic fiery stage from the first round. The production team of “Show Me the Money 5” actually participated in the making of the music video in order to make it as realistic as possible.

The song itself is reflective of producer Dok2’s signature style, with a strong, addictive beat that accentuates the powerful rapping. It’s an intense hip-hop track that showcases Team Hui’s drive to never give up.

The members of Team Hui also reportedly participated in the making of this song as well, alongside Dok2.
