Chairman Hong Seung Sung Returns To Cube Entertainment

Cube Entertainment’s co-founder and chairman Hong Seung Sung is returning to the agency shortly after announcing his departure.

On July 22, Hong Seung Sung announced via social media his departure amid reports of his illness and turbulence within the agency. However, on September 2, Cube Entertainment announced through an official statement, “Chairman Hong relayed his intent to leave Cube Entertainment on July 22, but he has decided to provide his support for the growth of the company.” It continued, “We respect Chairman Hong’s experience and competence, and believe that with his return, he will play a large role in the future and growth of Cube. Cube will continue throw in all its strength into the creation and development of Hallyu and K-pop.”

Cube Entertainment currently houses BEAST, BTOB, CLC, HyunA, the pre-debut group PENTAGON, and more.
