2016 K-Pop World Festival In Changwon Reveals MCs, Judges, And More

On September 23, KBS revealed new details about their 2016 K-Pop World Festival in Changwon.

Shin Dong Yup, EXID’s Hani, and BTS’s Rap Monster have been confirmed as the MCs for the event!

A source from KBS stated, “The 2016 K-Pop World Festival in Changwon will take place on September 30 at Changwon Sports Park at 7 p.m.”

This K-pop festival is an annual global K-pop competition starring K-pop cover stars. Contestants from 65 different countries participated in the preliminaries with a total of 15 teams moving on as finalists. These teams from Nigeria, Nepal, Russia, Malaysia, Mexico, the United States, Vietnam, Sweden, Israel, Italy, India, Indonesia, Japan, China, and Hungary will perform at the festival.

DJ Koo, Kim Jo Han, Seo In Young, and Black Eyed Pilseung will serve as judges. BTS, EXID, MONSTA X, ASTRO, TWICE, DJ Koo, and Just Jerk are expected to perform as well.

The 2016 K-Pop World Festival in Changwon will be broadcasted through KBS2 on October 16. International viewers will be able to watch it through KBS World.
