B1A4’s Sandeul Opens Up About Challenges Of Preparing First Solo Album

Sandeul expressed his gratitude for the support from his fellow B1A4 members as he readied his first solo album.

The singer guested on the October 4 broadcast of MBC FM4U’s “Kim Shin Young’s Hope Song at Noon” and shared about the preparation for his album.

Kim Shin Young mentioned that its the first solo album in six years for the group, to which he responded, “That’s correct. B1A4’s been around for six years and this is the first solo album.”

She remarked, “It’s usually the best singer in the group that releases the first solo album.” Sandeul humbly demurred, saying, “That’s not true for us. I don’t necessarily have a lot of parts. There’s a different voice amongst our members that match best with different songs. We try to match the focus to that member.”

Sandeul also opened up about the psychological toll he endured as he prepared for his solo album, thanking his members as he reveals, “It was really difficult. I realized that I really depended a lot on my members all this time.”
