Watch: "Goblin" Releases Dark And Suspenseful Teaser Featuring Gong Yoo

He may have looked pure and beautiful in previously revealed stills, but don’t be fooled, Gong Yoo can still be intimidating as a goblin.

The main character of tvN’s upcoming fantasy drama “Goblin,” the actor is featured in a teaser that doesn’t look exactly romantic or comedic.

Released on October 13, the short video flashes a warning message, “Turn off the lights. [Or else] he’ll come,” before dramatic music plays while close-ups of Gong Yoo quickly flash by.

At the very end, he eerily says in a low voice, “You will end up meeting an angry god.”

Gong Yoo will be playing a goblin who must find a human bride in order to end his immortal life, and his subsequent adventures with amnesiac grim reaper (Lee Dong Wook) and a girl with a strange fate (Kim Go Eun).

“Goblin” is the work of writer Kim Eun Sook and producing directer Lee Eung Bok, who worked together on “Descendants of the Sun.” The drama is set to air its first episode on December 2.
