Han Ye Seul Is Looking To Make Small Screen Comeback With Legal Drama

Actress Han Ye Seul is reportedly gearing up for a small screen comeback!

According to an industry source on October 18, “Han Ye Seul will appear in SBS Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Defendant’ (working title).”

Han Ye Seul is looking at her first-ever role as a lawyer for “Defendant.” She will play spirited public defender Seo Eun Hae who despite her best efforts to be a calm, cool, and collected lawyer with a warm sensibility, ends up fighting with the prosecutor and talking back to the judge when she enters the courtroom. For all her spirited fighting, Seo Eun Hae often ends up losing her cases.

“Defendant” will mark Han Ye Seul’s first terrestrial network drama since “Birth of a Beauty” two years ago. Han Ye Seul’s last drama was cable network JTBC’s “Madame Antoine,” which concluded in March of this year.

“Defendant” is slated to follow upcoming drama “Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim” after it concludes in January next year.
