Girl's Day Almost Debuted Under The Name Ice Cream?

On October 21, Girl’s Day’s Minah and Yura hosted an online broadcast where they caught up with fans, receiving and responding to live comments on air.

During the show, Yura asks fans to help her think of a name for her dog, and Minah also offers a variety of name suggestions. The name Julia comes up, which is revealed to have been a potential stage name for Yura.

Yura says about the potential name, “I really hated it. I asked for a Korean name.”

“In fact, Girl’s Day was also not Girl’s Day [initially]. We almost debuted as Ice Cream, Diamond, [among other names],” Minah says.

Meanwhile, Girl’s Day was recently revealed to be planning for a comeback before the end of this year.
