"The Legend Of The Blue Sea" Stays On Top Of Ratings, "Oh My Geum Bi" Gathers More Viewers

While the rankings didn’t change, there was a slight shift in ratings for the three Wednesday-Thursday primetime dramas from MBC, SBS, and KBS.

Yesterday, November 16 KST, three dramas premiered, each on their respective major network –”The Legend of the Blue Sea” premiered on SBS, “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo” on MBC, and “Oh My Geum Bi” on KBS. “The Legend of the Blue Sea,” starring Jun Ji Hyun and Lee Min Ho came out on top with 16.4 percent according to Nielsen Korea. “Oh My Geum Bi,” starring Oh Ji Ho and Heo Jung Eun took second place with 5.9 percent, and “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo,” starring Nam Joo Hyuk and Lee Sung Kyung, took third with 3.3 percent.

For the second episodes, however, ratings shifted a bit, with “The Legend of the Blue Sea” recording 15.1 percent, “Oh My Geum Bi” recording 6.5 percent, and “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo” recording 3.3 percent.” Despite falling in ratings, “The Legends of the Blue Sea” stayed in first, while “Oh My Geum Bi” stayed in second with its rise in ratings, and “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo” ranked third with the same ratings as yesterday.
