Actor Jung Il Woo To Enlist This December

Actor Jung Il Woo is set to begin his mandatory military service in December.

Jung Il Woo’s management agency, HB Entertainment, announced on November 29 KST that the actor will enter the military in December. They cannot give the exact date due to Jung Il Woo’s wish to begin his service quietly.

Jung Il Woo will serve out his conscription as a public service worker rather than an active duty soldier. The actor was previously involved, along with Lee Min Ho, in an accident in 2006 that resulted in serious wrist and hip injuries, among others. He will therefore receive basic training for four weeks and then be assigned to a position as a public service worker.
