Gong Yoo Writes Message To His Fans About His Feelings On "Goblin's" Premiere

On December 2, actor Gong Yoo wrote a message on his fan cafe to share his feelings about his new drama, tvN’s “Goblin.”

“I was more nervous about this than a movie premiere,” he wrote. “Ah… sigh. Thank you so much for cheering me on.”

“Goblin” is Gong Yoo’s first drama in four years. In “Goblin,” he plays the titular goblin, Kim Shin, combining charismatic action scenes with a budding love line with Kim Go Eun.

“I also have to thank from the bottom of my heart the director, the writer, and the production staff for making such a wonderful production. Tomorrow night we will join hands and make even more amazing scenes for everyone. The road ahead is long and sleepless, but please support us so that the ‘Goblin’ team can continue to forge ahead without any accidents and with smiling faces.”

He added whimsically, “And each of you hold up a candle,” referring to the fact that his character appears in the drama whenever Kim Go Eun blows out the candle.
