Fandometrics Compiles Ranking For K-Pop Groups With Most Influence On Tumblr
With 2016 almost coming to an end, Tumblr has compiled their own ranking of K-pop groups!
In order to create a scientific ranking, Tumblr’s Fandometrics implemented a specific criteria that contains four factors:
- How many posts were created that contain the tag
- How many times that tag was searched for
- How many times a post using that tag was reblogged
- How many times a post using that tag was liked
Fandometric’s content team also revealed that they “weight and normalize the number of actions to create a more accurate picture of each fandom’s influence across Tumblr.” Based on these aspects, Tumblr put together a list of K-pop groups for 2016.
Here’s a ranking of the K-pop groups with the most influence on Tumblr:
- BTS
- EXO
- GOT7
- SEVENTEEN
- SHINee
- VIXX
- B.A.P
- MONSTA X
- NCT
- BIGBANG
- iKON
- Girls’ Generation
- Red Velvet
- TWICE
- f(x)
- MAMAMOO
- INFINITE
- 2NE1
- BLACKPINK
- Block B
The ranking on Tumblr also reveals which groups went up and which groups went down, as well as which groups made it to the list for the first time.
