MBC Responds To Report That Major Variety Show PDs Are Moving To YG Entertainment

Recently, Star Today reported that several major producing directors from MBC would be leaving the broadcasting station to instead work for YG Entertainment. The PDs reportedly going to YG are content producer Jo Hee Jin (“Radio Star,” “Capable People”), PD Kim Min Jong (“Real Men”), and PD Jae Young Jae (“Infinite Challenge”).

According to the report, the directors have yet to submit their resignations and the transfers have yet to be made official. However, it is said that the matter is unofficially known among industry insiders.

A source from MBC responded to these rumors, saying, “As it is an internal matter of personnel, we cannot confirm.”
