Jo In Sung Picks Which Of His Friends He Thinks About Most And Why

On January 13, actor Jo In Sung sat down for an interview to promote his upcoming movie “The King” (directed by Han Jae Rim).

“The King” is about a prosecutor named Tae Soo (Jo In Sung) who wants to wield infinite power and live a life of luxury. By fate, he meets Han Kang Sik (Jung Woo Sung) and joins a group of powerful prosecutors who control much of Korea with their wealth and authority.

During the interview, Jo In Sung was asked about his close friendships with many of his fellow actors, including Lee Kwang Soo, EXO’s D.O., Song Joong Ki, and Kim Woo Bin.

When asked if he doted on D.O. (who is the youngest) the most, Jo In Sung joked, “Kyung Soo belongs to Woo Bin.”

He added, “Woo Bin likes Kyung Soo a lot. It’s to the point where he’ll say, ‘My love Do Kyung Soo, where are you.’ For me, I think of Lee Kwang Soo a lot. Joong Ki takes care of himself 120 percent. Not that Kwang Soo doesn’t, but Kwang Soo has both an ‘actor’ image and a ‘variety image.’ Even though this is the road he wants to walk, he is sometimes not confident about coming out and saying he’s an actor when everyone thinks he’s a variety star.”

Jo In Sung also revealed that he’s given some advice to Lee Kwang Soo about the matter. “I told him that I wish he wouldn’t think of variety and acting as separate things. Rather than trying to separate them, I told him that he can be someone who is good and capable at both.”

He continued, “When you think that you have to appear to people as an actor, you’re the only one that gets burdened. There’s no need to think like that. I think that Cha Tae Hyun has helped a lot in that regard too.”

Meanwhile, “The King” will be released in theaters in Korea on January 18.
