Kim Jong Kook Picked By Viewers (And Cha Tae Hyun!) As Most Scene-Stealing Cameo In Lee Kwang Soo's Drama
On January 13, KBS hosted a “The Sound Of Your Heart” special where Lee Kwang Soo, Jung So Min, Kim Dae Myung, Kim Byung Ok, and Kim Mi Kyung were interviewed by special MC Kim Jong Kook about their drama.
The show also revealed a list of “Best 3 Cameos” as chosen by the viewers. No. 1 was Kim Jong Kook, who also topped the production staff’s list. According to the staff, although Kim Jong Kook had to film for 24 hours straight, he never seemed to get tired.
“The Sound of Your Heart” is a sitcom based on a webtoon of the same name and tells the story of a webtoon artist (Lee Kwang Soo) and his family. Kim Jong Kook appeared on the show as the younger twin cousins of Lee Kwang Soo’s character.
Kim Jong Kook revealed, “After I appeared in the drama, I got a call from Cha Tae Hyun. He told me, ‘It looks like I don’t need to give you advice on acting. I’ll take responsibility for your acting career at my agency. Start acting for real.”
