BEAST's Lee Gikwang And Son Dongwoon Appear As First Guests On "Raid The Convenience Store"

On January 13, BEAST members Lee Ki Kwang and Son Dong Woon brought much laughter to the episode premiere of tvN’s “Raid the Convenience Store,” (literal title) where new, interesting recipes are created with convenience store goods.

As the show’s first guests, the two members arrived on set by recreating one of the most popular scenes from “Goblin,” where Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook dramatically set off to rescue Kim Go Eun.

Unable to use their group name, Lee Ki Kwang introduced himself as a “talent,” while Son Dong Woon called himself a “well-rounded entertainer.” MC Lee Soo Geun asked, “When did you change jobs?” and Lee Ki Kwang answered, “It hasn’t been very long.” Fellow BEAST member MC Yoon Doo Joon added, “I think it’s been 15 days.”

Lee Ki Kwang explained that he spent his downtime resting and writing songs. Son Dong Woon, on the other hand, said he recently recovered from a case of enteritis (intestinal inflammation). When asked if they’re fans of convenience stores, Lee Ki Kwang mentioned how he makes regular visits to a new convenience store that just opened near his home. Son Dong Woon talked about his love of Japanese convenience stores and showcased some of his Japanese language skills.
